GatorSavers

GatorSavers is a one day event whereby Gators, both UF students and the surrounding community, come together for one day to save lives. This one day event is scheduled to host CPR with AED certification for only $5.00, a blood drive and an opportunity to sign up for bone marrow, organ and tissue registries.

Goals for the Day

  1. 1. Certify 750 people in CPR with AED.
  2. 2. Collect 150 units of blood.
  3. 3. Have 150 join lifesaving registries.

Parking is free on Saturday



CPR Details (Goal - 750 Trained):

The course offered is Adult CPR and AED. There will be three different 2-hour sessions to choose with a limit of 250 spots per session:



Blood Drive (Goal - 150 Units Collected):

Give blood during LifeSouth Community Blood Center's blood drive from 9am to 5pm, located in the Rion Ballroom.

The cost to register is $5.00 plus any processing fees. And if budget permits, all attendees will receive a GatorSavers t-shirt.



Joining Lifesaving Registries Details (Goal - 150 Signups):

LifeSouth will be signing up individuals to join the National Bone Marrow Registry from 9am to 5pm in the 2nd floor lobby.


Donate Life will be signing up individuals to join the National Organ & Tissue Registry from 9am to 5pm in the 2nd floor lobby.
